Nathan Kress From iCarly Just Became A Dad

She's absolutely precious.

Christmas came early for Nathan Kress and wife London, who welcomed their first child on Thursday (December 21). The Nickelodeon star, best-known for playing dorky Freddie Benson on iCarly, shared pics on Friday of the happy parents with their newborn. “Rosie Carolyn Kress, born 12/21/17 at 3:59pm. 6 lbs, 6 ounces of utter joy,” he tweeted. “Mom and baby are doing amazing. I am an emotional wreck. In the good way!”

Nathan also shared a close up of his daughter on Instagram, gushing about his new pride and joy. He included lyrics to Switchfoot’s song, “Always,” as part of his Instagram caption: “This is the start… This is your heart… This is the day you were born. This is the sun… these are your lungs… This is the day you were born. And I am always, always, always yours. Hallelujah, I’m cavin’ in… hallelujah, I’m in love again.”

Nathan’s clever announcement back in July that he and London were expecting is definitely one for the books. Posting a pic of the couple kissing in London, Kress revealed their good news to excited fans. “Me and my baby in London. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ Me, and my baby in London. Me. πŸ‘¨ And my baby πŸ‘Ά IN —>LONDON πŸ‘§πŸΌ<— Get it??πŸ€°πŸΌπŸ˜‰ Mommy and daddy are thrilled to announce Baby Kress, arriving January 2018πŸ‘ͺπŸ’™,” he teased. Clearly, little Rosie came early, just in time for Christmas.

The duo already knew their firstborn would be a girl, after revealing the gender on Instagram in August with a pink balloon. Jokingly, Nathan captioned the pic, “You can find me on my porch, in my rocking chair, polishing my shotgun, for the next 18 to 40 years.”

Congrats to the new parents!
